Do you ever get drained by conversation or by being around others, even loved ones?

Yes, its a characteristic of introverts
-
-
If is someone that I like being around, definitely not
-
-
Yes.. that 15 minute conversation with my neighbor drained me the f*ck out
Happens to me, even when i'm talking to my gma

Yes, people really suck the energy out of me
-
I'm glad y'all can even have conversations I just stand there and let them talk until it gets awkward and then they leave.. At work there's like literally nothing for me to do but clean the bathrooms that are already clean so there's really nothing exhausting me but whenever I get home I'm so drained and tired because I have to be amongst people -_- just being around people tires me
My family is everything I've got so their company is a blessing
-
Yes, especially when the "loved ones" are annoying.
That does suck quite a bit
-
Yes! I swear some people really are energy vampires! I work with several.
I hate those kinds, i always need a nap afterward.

Sometimes I do that too. Then they look at me weird and then leave. And I stand there looking like an idiot and trying to figure out what they were saying in the first place, cuz i was spacing out the entire time
My family never stops talking, my brain is always tired of the constant stimulation
-
It depends...

I actually wondered something about fellow introverts.. Do people treat you like you're dumb just because you're quiet? or is that just me? lmao They seriously treat me like I'm mentally handicapped T_T when I just have npc energy like with my other job people always ask me for directions so.. I'm totally npc energy
And I have 3 older sister who are all super annoying especially the 2 sisters -_- they make a bunch of random loud noises and constantly singing like dumbasses like the 1 sister can sing really good but chooses not too and sings like really dumb -_- and I get mad at them telling them to shut up then they treat me like I'm mad all the time but it's like just STFU for a bit

Sometimes, it really just depends on the person. Quite a bit of people ask if somethings wrong with me. Or they'll ask me if i'm mute or can't talk. I hate it. If i tell them that i'm introverted they just assume that all i wanna do all day is stay in my home and never come out. When its really just that everyday conversation just drain me of energy.
My mom and grandma talk all the freaking time! and since we live in a 2 bedroom I got the living rooms, so their is no way for me to escape their constant chatter. So typically i'm usually have of low energy.

Yeah i enjoy some company, typically when its a really cool conversation, but most of the time i prefer the silence and quiet time

When I first watched Harry Potter I literally loved Harry's room lmao cause it was under the stairs! kind of embarrassing to say though ahah when they're out of their room can't you just go in it and close the door?
Oh yeah thing on depending on the person I get that usually in the summer I get alot of elderly people talking to me and that really helped me with my social anxiety so I'm 100x more comfortable with elders but sometimes they're busy bodies haha
-
Tbh if I ever get a girlfriend or become married which I doubt we would have to live in separate houses lmao same with my older sister and her boyfriend he wants to get a house with her but she doesn't want him living with her and our other siblings and parents think we're weird for being like that lol

I would love a little space like that. Nope, I'm not allowed in their rooms. its off limits
it honestly depends on the person for me. I do typically feel more comfortable with elderly people. Them and kids with special needs. They are also so fun to be around. I have the most interesting conversations and am not completely drained afterwards, just a little bit.

Yeah, its gotten so bad, sometimes I just avoid them all together and retreat to my quiet place

worst thing is when they don’t respect that and get all mad at you for not being 100% into the convo...
Yes!! that does suck, i'm like sometimes its too much or too mundane, and i just need to get away, then i have to explain only to have them laugh at me

exactly! It’s really frustrating, because if they’re talking about something i have no interest in, i’m only going to comment the bare minimum since i don’t know what i’m talking about.
When i’m in one of those moods, i don’t want any confrontation since it’s irritating, and having to explain yourself is just plain ridiculous.

Very frustrating i just space out and then i get yelled at and called things
It really is, its really really annoying

yeah, all the time. but, I still make an effort to be around others as avoiding social interaction can quickly become isolation and depression. I think it is quite normal for a lot of people.

everyday, I don't like to talk at all, I'm just always in my head about something. I still talk to people normally but even talking to someone at school is hard so I prefer to not.

i don't really like talking
