Twice downfall in korea started in 2019, 2019 is also when twice members publically started dating, just coincidence?
Do you guys think going public and official with dating played a role in twice's downfall in korea?

No, the shift in concept. Big chunk of their fans dropped them after they didn’t go back to cutesy concept after Fancy.
Also, new kpop fans at that time preferred girl crush > cutesy. While Twice transitioned to more mature concept, they’re still pretty much known to being cute girls doing cute songs.
So, many fans left and many new fans chose not to check them out. It was a difficult phase for Twice as Kpop was expanding globally. But having a name already when Kpop became as huge as it is has become their advantage in the long run as they have more casual fans now.

What downfall lol They've been active for years and made a lot of money , now they'll focus on solo stuff which is the play.

Twice switching concept and their dating news came almost simultaneously so I never understand how people can claim with so much conviction dating played no role in them losing steam in Korea. Might have been a combination of several factors, dating being one of them. Especially when it didn't align with the cute/innocent image that they had.

I think it was combination of factors and public dating was one of them

Lack of talent outside of doing the cutesy genre was the main reason.
