I could actually see that being the case too.
Like I don't think Bang PD or anyone expected a Overwatch theme song or whatever to do really well.
I'm sure the plan WAS for them to perform it a handful of times and do the usual tiktok thing.
But they didn't expect to almost get a Hot 100 entry (on the Bubbling Under for 2 weeks now at #20 and now #19), to Top inside the Exclusive U.S chart and Global chart, nor for it to do very very well in Korea.
I think it's trending just a little bit too on Tiktok and people are doing some dance covers to it too

So yeah, i wouldnt want to have a comeback right away while this is blowing up either.
I would ride the momentum out...just like they did with Eve, Psyche, & the Blue Beards Wife

They are already one of the top new groups in Korea. Having another comeback soon isn't going change things very much and will waste resources and time. Say they have 10% market share. Increasing it to 10.5% isn't going make much difference, in what is a small market.

They're already doing amazing in Japan though. Being invited to Kohaku Uta Gassen twice already as newbies is a pretty big deal. And pretty sure they are getting big in Japan because of their Korean music (japanese translations of Fearless and Unforgiven probably didnt do anything tbh). If they release more Kpop music its also gonna help them get more popular in Japan (kpop is pretty big there already) so its killing 2 birds with 1 stone
This year, they had hits like Unforgiven and Eve, and Perfect Night is smashing it atm. Their next comeback doesn't have to be hurried, in my opinion. \

def not. the korean comeback will def be a priority now since that last one was in may. the fimmies always do korean comeback then japanese comeback which is usually kor comeback but in jp + some random jp song. then the cycle repeats.
i expect them to have a comeback early next year and then maybe continue touring too.
