if Ahyeon doesnt come back, I dont see much of a future for Babymonster. She was by far the most popular member, and one of only 3 Korean members. Japanese fans don't seem to care for them. I don't know if Babymonster will be able to survive off of their sea fans alone

I think is damage control for the backlash they are getting but if yg is using her for mediaplay that would so wrong but I could expect that from him tbh. At the moment I think is damage control.

tbh it's really possible she'll get to BM yeri-style, i mean she's trained for more than 4 years in YG, i bet her and her parents would still want to be in BM, but maybe there's something really happening with her health physically, mentally, or both, you'll never know what happens offcam, just wish her the best

After the "we will update later" comment, this is their only remaining statement from them.

Will not be debuting means two things, that she has left the group entirely and obv not debuting with them, or she is taking a hiatus and won't join the debut and the group until she's in a better shape.

I take the second one, because is there any info saying that Ahyeon has entirely left YGE and the group? if no then that just means she's on a hiatus.

Can't YG make a statement like JYP did about Lia?

It seems like a damage control for people to not lose interest in their debut. Then, later, when people are used to the 6 members, saying she's gone.
