In Oct 1813, Napoleon's 200,000 troops, about 1/3 from France and the rest from various German principalities, met with the forces of Prussia, Austria and Russia, numbering about 300,000.

However, on the third day, Jean Bernadotte, who used to be under Napoleon but was never really a friend of the Emperor (Bernadotte was a general when Napoleon was a nobody, something B never forgot), and now the King of Sweden (don't ask me why), arrived with Swedish forces.
He arranged the King of Saxony, who knew B, to defect against Napoleon. So the Saxon troops began to charge against the French forces, and forces from the principalities of Baden and Wurttemberg quickly followed suit.
Napoleon did not expect this betrayal, and now his position at Leipzig was untenable, so he had to withdraw. In a snafu, the last bridge of the Elbe river was detonated, and Marshal Poniwatowski, who led the Polish contingent, drowned. The Polish contingent quickly dissolved with his death.
80,000 French troops, including Marshal Oudinot, were captured, and Napoleon had to flee back to France with whatever was remaining of his forces. When he reached Hanau, near Frankfurt, General Wrede of Bavaria, who used to be allied to the Emperor, tried to capture the Emperor's forces to look good for the now advancing allies. Napoleon was able to break free from Wrede, but he crossed back to France with 50,000 men.
5 months later the Allied Forces rampaged Paris.

The redux of the Battle of Leipzig to liberate Pop from BTS reached a new stage when Beatles decided to release Now and Then at the same time with Jungkook's Standing Next to You.
Despite of the inconvenient fact that John Lennon and George Harrison have been dead for quite a while, Paul McCartney decided to deliver the coup de grace to BTS' world empire at the most decisive moment,
Jungkook, who had to fight Taylor Swift, Drake, Doja Cat and SZA, now has to face the forces of Beatles.
At spotify everywhere, Jungkook is fighting against BEATLES in earnest, but he seems to be losing in USA, UK, most of Europe , Brazil and Mexico.
Like Napoleon having to run to France, fight a desperate battle and dragged to the small island of Elba, Jungkook will have tp fight a desperate series of battles to stay alive earlier next year against people he did not have to worry about before, until he is dragged to the military training camp.
I don't think Jungkook was thinking too much about Beatles when he released his album, but now reality is setting in.
No one will ever say BTS is better than Beatles, now an empirical result has been obtained.
With a full force BTS might have beaten the Beatles, or Paul McCartney probably would have decided to find a better date to release the single.
However, by next week, the repercussion of this decisive battle will be felt, and the world will once again swoon for Beatles, although two of them have been dead for quite a while, and I will save words on what will happen to JK.
