  • I haven't watched a new drama in like 2 or 3 years.

Mostly because I prefer romantic comedies, and unfortunately, they follow the same tropes.

Can you please give me something more than regular/down on her luck female lead who somehow ends up working for or living with the traumatized/cold/rich male lead, and then we have the puppy dog 2nd male lead who sacrifices everything for the FL despite the fact he never had a chance and she will never look his way.

Also tired of the, we're best friends, but somehow never looked at each other in a romantic way, but now, for some reason, we're falling in love.

Or the, we hate each other and bicker all the time, but that's actually just sexual tension!

It's so boring and predictable! I've watched too many shows like that already. And, there are some great shows I really enjoy from those tropes, but once you've seen it once, you've seen it a thousand times!

I'm not really interested in office romance, and the age thing weirded me out in the 2nd one.

The Flower of Evil looks interesting though. I love me some Lee Joon-gi. :lover1:

    more like a Suzy fan

and fan of concept of 25-21 - it's not like you would hear from actresses that they for real 'fought' battles and well WSJN Bona was there sooo...

Oh no, what I meant is that I drop kdramas because old actors and actresses that I used to love rarely have any new kdramas nowadays.

But I am currently watching Strong Girl Nam-soon, I dont know the lead but Park Bo Young made a cameo. :teeheek:

  • I hate the typical korean comedic weird cringe dialogue. I hate comedy, I want everything to be serious. That's why I liked The Glory, and I wish there were different dramas with that kind of vibe to them

  • Are these horror kdramas? i dont like watching horror or suspense. I might get heart attack :nervousk:

the max I would say would be a thriller

    but it's more like action

but if you are a scaredy cat then I suggest to get to know actresses like

Park Gyu Young, and Moon Kayoung both played in many rom-coms, or well kdrama without horror elements

Gyu Young played in: 'Dali and the Cocky Prince', 'Celebrity', and 'A good day to be a Dog'

Kayoung played in: 'Find me in your Memory', 'The interest of Love', and 'True Beauty'

also pretty sure you know Ahn Hyoseop from younger actors, doesn't matter if he plays in fantasy/sageuk, or in rom com, or in 'medical/hospital' drama he always does great job

I usually like actors which can play different type of roles this is why I like Namkoong Min so much, guy can be a badass in one drama, and play a quirky, weird funny character in another one... orrrr he can just be a handsome man lol
