Kinda hard to explain but I like singing voices that sound light and husky or.. airy..? I used to think this is the "half air half sound" voice uncle jyp was talking about but it probably not what he meant lol.

For dudes, i like full, powerful tones with lots of huskiness and sharpness around the edges. Basically, unicorn voices like Steve Perry lol. That's why i really cant get into BG Kpop, i dunno if it's a biological thing with Asians but it seems like none of us have that Steve Perry-like tonality, 99 percent of dudes have real thin nasally tones with no discernible color. Or maybe it's just the song styles (breathy style with 80 percent falsetto) and massive autotune/overprocessing in pop music that just blends everyone's voices into the same sound.
Compare any BG vocal in Kpop to this and you just have to cry 
Even this dude's unicorn vocals, from a one hit wonder band called Steelheart, just no comparison with anyone in Kpop
