The Jamboree mess once again reemphasized the value of KPop, and the complete uselessness of domestic songs.
Songs only popular among the Koreans proved to be completely useless in hours of need, as foreigners were not impressed by them.
It took all these years but the end of the domesticists, which should have taken place of in 2010 but was only extended by 13 years because of one person, whose harm to KPop exceeds everyone else combined.
But, with spotify and tiktok becoming dominant, the domesticists who won't be relevant in spotify , billboard hot 100 , etc will be cast aside.
The decline of Melon means the end of the domesticists, and Melon is now dominated by 4th gen girl groups, with nothing remaining for the so-called digital monsters who are about 220 to 0 this year against 4gen ggs.
Like a bunch of wild animals running from a pride of lions, these domestists are running on the lap of the one person who might be able to save them, Lee Jieun, just like she saved the domesticists back in 2010..
This is an event in early Sep,, 2023
All digimons were slaughtered by New Jeans, Gidle, aespa and IVE.
I believe Jungkook is the only male singer who reached #1 in Hot 100 of Melon, and only the aforementioned four acts had Daily #1s this year.
So, all these vocalists have requested the Singer of Last Resort, the one singer who has never failed to reach #1 in Melon in all of her comebacks, for one last gasp.
The soju brand Chamiseul (true dew) , the largest in…

and, lo and behold, the only singer out of these who has a shot of defeating a KPop act, the 1,344 years old IU.
IU is a model for the Woori Bank and is said to be the "Special Guest" so her performance time is probably going to be significantly more equal than other acts in the event. Other acts might do 10-15 min, singing two or three songs, but the Former Owner of Edam Entertainment will at least have close to 45 minutes, singing 6-8 songs.
There are plenty of names above who would never be caught dead with the Singer who had traveled to Japan with Lee Jongsuk.
People like Lee Seokhoon, Ha Hyunwoo or Rain would not have allowed themselves to be in the first day lineup.
And, people like Paul Kim and Ailee would NEVER imagined themselves to be in an event where the 1,344 years old is the signature act.
But, on the other hands, Former Owner of Edam Entertainment Lee Jieun would never have imagined herself to be leading a bunch of domestic acts. She rarely attended group events after 2018; she was busy fighting against BTS and all the new Kpop acts.
However, now the burden of defending the domesticsts of Kpop once again falls to the two shoulders of the Senior Singer, whose old body looks more profound as she has to battle people who are half of her human age.
When she traveled to Japan with Lee Jongsuk, he probably did not expect to see a desperate situation like this when the entire domesticits genre would be facing an existential crisis.
All of them are now asking her to save their own behinds.
It seems her endless machinations of KPop, her attempts to undermine Kpop whenever she could, etc are coming to an end as Melon ceases to be relevant as far as the i-fans are concerned.
Whether KPop can finally deliver the long awaited coup de grace to the domesticists remains to be seen. This is once in 13 years chance to end the domesticits . IT is time for the KPoppers to shine.
