Like this was a whole collab with the Jonas Brothers, and their was anticipation believe it or not.
The fact that they didn't give proper promotion and marketing, and waited till a week or two later to drop remixes and all that jazz, was just so incompetent.
You can tell they wanted the fans to do all the work, and since "Sugar Rush Ride" did pretty well and almost entered the Hot 100, they again expected that same result.
But "Sugar Rush Ride", and the whole temptation album had sooo much effort put into it, in terms of marketing and promotion.
This time they threw a song out there for the fans to catch, but it didn't stick cuz they didn't do their part on time and the right way.

I know you had good intentions, and I know some of us didn't mind the tag here, but maybe it'd be better to avoid tagging moaville to this specific user's threads in the future. All nominations were pushed, lol. And they always are.
An act can drop the biggest K-pop song of the decade, but without a good label's connection pushing it, It doesn't matter. Unless It's the BBMA cause they follow a specific data (At least It's what It's said).

It feels like Hybe ceo bpd is not supporting/ pushing NJ. Why?
If he could get TXT and SVT to be at last considered for nomination, did he just do nothing for NJs? Obviously in this globale cicle he has far more connections than MHJ who has connections more in korea/ maybe asia.
also the fact that he put JG against NJ is shady too.
He is jaleous of MHJ? Because NJ is more succesful than LSF and seems on the way to become really big like BP or BTS? Does he feel offended or even humiliated by MHJs brain, vision and impact?
So he is putting JG against NJ to prove her that HE is the one who made BTS. HE is the genius. In the end he ends up depriving NJ of the ressources Hybe could have given to them.
NJ not being nominated despite being the biggest kpop act in korea and one of the biggest worldwide could have made sense if only ADOR was backing them, but not if Hybe is behind them as well. It doesn’t make no sense at all.
But the thing is again if my THEORY is real, Hybe/BPD are not supporting NJ anymore. At last activelly.

I don't think BigHit or any kpop company is paying to have their artists nominated tbh. If they are, it's stupid because it doesn't even make any noise anymore. BTS have shown the ceiling to the Koreans and global kpop fans of what can be achieved so anything else happening isn't considered that big anymore or barely makes a news outside the kpop sphere.
But I do think companies do use their connections to have their artists attend or participate or perform at the events or award shows or festivals. Then again it's their job to do so.
BigHit has been pushing TxT in the US for a while now. I remember they had made some US TV appearances in 2021 when it wasn't that common for kpop groups other than BTS & BP (and SuperM). They also were pushing some songs on the US radio back then. So yeah you can say they are the most pushed boygroup in the US. But since it hasn't been as vigorous as how Ador is doing with NewJeans, it doesn't feel as much effective too.
Anyways it just feels like VMA picked up these nominations blindly to show that they really care about the music video and not just popularity of the songs.
