Another BlackPink record is broken

  • Why is Brave Girls not counted? Feb 2012 till Feb 2016 is a much longer time. Stop stealing my faves records. :cursing:

What about Snsd from 2017 to 2022? 5 whole years?

  • Well sometimes you have to admit when you are wrong, and I was wrong.

The actual holders of this record is a group called Saturday, 914 days. (if we disqualify Brave Girls)

If we count BB girls, then the record is something like [DD/MM/YYYY]

    1. BB girls 1,256 days or so (07/03/2017) to (14/08/2020)

    2. BB Girls 1,031 or so days (31/08/2013) to (14/08/2016)

    3. Saturday 914 days or so (22/01/2021) to (22/07/2023)

Then again, if BB girls count, so should SNSD, they would be the record holders with over 1,800 days between holiday and forever young.

    Then there is KARA.

  • What about Snsd from 2017 to 2022? 5 whole years?

    Would you count KARA?

    "Cupid" May 26, 2015

    "When I move" November 29, 2022

  • Would you count KARA?

    "Cupid" May 26, 2015

    "When I move" November 29, 2022

    Lol! This is fun.

  • I conclude:

If we dont differenciate between forced by company or selfchoosen.

    SNSD with over 1800 days.

Brave Girls with 1256 days or so would only count for the old members and for them it is questionable if they could be counted as known group. also the members arent active anymore so they are no active record holder anyway.

BB Girls with 1031 days can be counted for the active members but it is also questionable if they still are active holders because even if they allways denied any disbandment. the company and name change can technically still be seen as one.

The next in line is Saturday with 914 days. but i dont really know them. so it is questionable if they can be counted as a known group.

So only with a lot of ifs and exclusions Weki-Meki is the actual record holder.^^

  • The thing about BB girls, is that if the 'rolling' military video had not gone viral, they would have disbanded.

I guess is the same issue with my original post, is Weki Meki really in hiatus? If they disband then no, if they comeback then yes.

The thing with SM groups, is that they never officially disband. As far as we know, FX could make a comeback, just like S.E.S did.

As you say, KARA did disband according to their old label.

  • since rollin went viral, they didnt disband. if bp would have floped from the beginning they would have disbanded long ago too. such what ifs shouldnt matter.

yes. lets hope weki wont disband just like that.

true sm being problematic again.^^ i can see their groups not getin counted generally.

S.E.S. actually did officiall disband in 2002 tho.

Edit: true F(x) could. but personally i doubt that they ever will. karma wont give that to drewb.^^

  • its not like Brave Girls did absolutly nothing but yeah the difference in public attention is obvious.

and at that time Brave Girls werent counted as a known group.

i can accept that excuse but blinks still stole the record. lol

S.E.S. officailly disbanded in 2002. That was a reunion. that surely dont count.

Auuuuuur i didnt know they actually disbanded!

  • If F(x) has a comeback…. Under SM…… after all theyve done to that group and put them through……………. I think i’d like… officially have to block Krystal for having no self respect
