I was not expecting the Barbie Movie to make me cry

Whoever gets offended by this movie is just stupid

I heard the movie had a lot of feminist themes before going to see but i thought considering it was barbie it will be a light movie with sometimes some feminist themes not really exploded

But the movie was really raw, it didn't try to embrace the feminism themese using metaphor etc.... To not trigger a part of the public no, it was really direct

And honestly the fact of using barbie was a really smart move to carry this movie and themes was really important

Because i felt that for the past decade barbie image have been kinda ruin by some feminist and the gp

And most people now just see barbie as a doll create to push a standard of beauty on young girls

And i like that the film go back to remind people that whatever the image people try to paint of barbie

It's not what barbie was made for at her debut and it's much more than a cute blond girl, and that in contrary people for all these past years have painted barbie as a symbol of anti-feminism when since the debut of her creation barbie was actually a symbol of feminism in a society was patriarchy was so strong

I honestly really like the themes and message of the movie

The movie was cute, can't say i would give it a really good ratings, but it's mostly because the end felt kinda drag and too long
