My faves really aren't like other girls... whether that's a good thing or not, I'll leave that up to the eye of the beholder
in my opinion, if anyone is doing anything innovative in kpop, it's the huge body of behind the scene workers who work on the concept, music and help manage and train the idols, idols in gneral just get handed the material and have no creative controle whatsoever, it's sad because I can see some idols wanting to show a piece of themselves to the world but can't.
This has me thinking, but no wonder kpop fans put so much emphasis on companies. We all know most of idols don't have big control over their music and acknowledging company is like acknowledging people who worked on their music, I guess?
Well op is always bragging abt exo the exact way so…
And OP is not wrong
still some other users here -bg fans for what i can understand from their profile (badges, signatura, blabla) are using this as an excuse to shade gg... maybe you should try to talk to them instead of me...or talk about my IQ
Display MoreThey’re making pop music 😭
Some pop music is better than others. And some acts are more consistent than others like <insert your favs names because you like their music>
But no one is reinventing the wheel.
There is music that’s groundbreaking and innovative and it’s not kpop.
Ok anyway that’s all I wanted to say.
I mostly agree with this point of view, but there are still some exceptions (very little of course). For example, whether we like the person and his music or not, it's hard to deny the huge impact that Gdragon & BIGBANG had in kpop. He is the precursor of many codes found in "modern" kpop. There really is a before and an after.
