i do agree with your take on Florence Pugh but then again I've never seen media praise her for her looks, it's only ever like "Florence Pugh looks fabulous in this (designer brand) dress!". Btw I think you spelled her name the way most people think it's pronounced but it's Pugh(pew, like a gun)
Let's take someone that is more known for their visuals than her, Emma Watson.
Same thing, she's pretty but a lot of girls are as pretty her. 90% of celebs are as pretty as the average person. Same applies for K-pop. Only about 10% of idols/celebs you would look at and say, "wow, they really are out of this world pretty." This is a good thing because it make's the beauty standard a lot more accessible when you realize majority of celebs will look like your average person.
I have 2 conspiracies for why celebs are marketing as being more attractive than the average person. Firstly I already mentioned capitalism. Secondly, so the 10% of celebs/idols who are out of this world pretty don't hog all the opportunities.
