but recently we had that pre-debut Purple Kiss as 365 practice, youtube channel when we could see more

and since then another example is current SM female rookies

they go to Han river, to sunbae group concerts etc.

btw is this legal ? Because I'm sure a lot of them are minors, wouldn't the parents be worried if they can't communicate with their kids ?

Idk, but knowing that some basic protection law are just about to be processed into a real law, I think this thing is not yet defined in the law there?

Also, they can still communicate, usually through their manager phone

just gonna hope in here and say, iirc they wouldn't just take the phones, but replace them with really old phone models that are pretty much useless for things other than direct calling or brief texts. But if not, parents are probably able to make calls by contacting the managers.
