I wonder if all the controversy regarding MHJ's "interesting" aesthetics, the lyrics scandal relating to Cookie, etc, has forced her to adopt a more conservative approach for the girls in terms of styling. I think a NJ fan made a funny comment about all the baggy 90s styling NJ has adopted over the past year and it definitely appears true lol.
Which actually may have been a fortuitous turn of events. What may have been forced on them may have unwittingly ended up to be a big net benefit for their branding, it helps to distinguish them from the vast majority of Kpop groups.
