The majority of kpop fans are literally hypocrites, they will gladly glee over some skinship or shipping but god forbid those idols actually are gay then there's a problem. Yep, people tend to forget that, especially if they only check western media platforms (twitter, forums, anything). Have you all read about Uganda's lgbt law? The parliament passed the law that criminalizes being lgbtq, imposing death penalty in some cases. The president didn't want to sign so they "toned it down"

The new bill has made amendments to distinguish between those who identify or appear to be LGBTQ+ and those who actually engage in homosexual acts. Same-sex relations are already illegal in Uganda and warrant a maximum sentence of life imprisonment.
