Halle's vocals really are peak.

Makes me kind of salty she was cast in a movie where she doesn't speak for 90% of it lol.

Sounds ok to me.

Most female kpop idols would not come close to Halle.

Imma be honest. I dont know about the pronunciation complaints, i'll let the Koreans hash it out, but as far as vocals go...Danielle was better than Hallie. Hallie sounded like a pop star singing Broadway while Danielle has the Disney Princess color.

I feel like folks are rallying around Hallie cause conservatives are shading Disney's decision to race swap Ariel. But in reality, her voice just cant compare to true Broadway singers or someone like mah girl Morissette. And i think even Danielle's is preferable to Hallie.

True, i will look for other live performances of Hallie and compare.

I think this is a good demonstration of her vocal tone and range while singing a Disney song. There are performances of hers that prefer more, but most of them are with her sister and this is a Disney song.

This is not me saying that Halle is the best vocalist to ever walk the Earth or that there are not other people who could probably sing Disney songs more beautifully, but I think that putting her on the same level as Danielle as a vocalist is a little...

Your preference of tone is one thing because maybe you prefer Danielle's tone and vocal color overall, but I think as a pure vocalist, Halle is clearly stronger than Danielle.

I don't think she's on Hallie's level, but Danielle still definitely has that disney princess vibe down
