BP is a world tour not a Japanese tour
yeah I know now someone explained it later

Isn't it better to wait for the actual boxscores? Creating records over capacity is a very 2nd gen thing to do, when the k-pop concerts' boxscores used to not be revealed
since SM announced it

Being sold out doesn't say much about the usage of capacity. Two acts can do a concert in a 20k venue, for example, one put 10k tickets to sell, the other 13k and the two of them can sell out all. That's why It's better to wait for boxscores for comparisons.

the tweet only references being the fastest foreign artist to hold a concert at the tokyo dome
I think you didn't get what I mean, I didn't doubt It's sold out

even if they aren't sold out all of their total their Jp tour capacity 294,000 , and approx only sold 228,000 they still are the biggest like the tweet been saying. We just excited with the possibilities it might came true

I see nothing wrong in using capacities as thermometer to creating expectations of how many tickets you think your fave might sell
It's just that records using capacity as actual audience and exist in K-pop since 2nd gen that I side eye lmao

I still think you better to wait after they are done with their tour and number of seats are confirmed not saying always but sometimes ( at least in the US) they don't always use their full capacity.
agree espacially considering that SM is not always using the full capacity of the place for their concert
actually the original tweet only using 228,000 (not the total capacity of the venue) and I am kinda excited since I saw aespa JP tour audiences each venue and overall are full sea of people (no sections being closed) so I've been thinking that they will sold all the total capacities and how SM wording of it. So in conclusion this is my mistake

yes this is on me
What minazuki is saying is both 10k and 20k can be “sold out” for the same venue. It depends on how many seats the company makes available not the total capacity of the venue.
