What trend have you noticed kids moving unto after kpop?

Jpop only if they open their market to the world. They have a lot of trending sounds on tiktok more than kpop.

I don’t know globally but my nieces and nephew were the ones who introduced me to kpop when they were teens.. and now they are listening to emo, rock type of songs. I think the youths are still trying to find themselves, hence the taste change. But oldies like me already been there done that.. and I feel kpop is still an interesting genre because it’s not really a genre.. so never know what you get with kpop. And as long as BTS is active, I will be too.

I'm not on twitter, IG or TIK TOK so I'm probably not the best to ask but it's kinda like vice versa.
For me it was emo to pop to Cpop before Kpop and now back to pop and hip hop. (And only like 1 Jpop group but that's cause they were always so interactive and hearted a lot of my comments or answered my questions) (I also still love listening to Xiao Gui's Raining (the mv is so cute and well written), and sometimes ONER but I wouldn't say I'm the biggest fan. Nine Percent's music is gone from Spotify 😢
But I feel like it also depends on people's current music tastes to and personal interests.

House music has been having a comeback for a while, and that's bleeding over into garage, drum n bass. I feel like techno had its moment and is a little less fresh.
Trance is also kinda becoming cool in a weird way
What kind of music is House music? *examples?*
Trance too! -
