Kpop labels are now in the same position as those American labels back in the 90s who pioneered boyband music and then watched as Korea copy pastaed the genre and took it over.

ETA: I forgot to give my opinion on the song. It's got an infectious retro beat without any of that accursed trap nonsense, and also some very cute sounding lyrics lol. Solid 8 out of 10.

I don't know what's wrong with your ears but I don't think you can call Shooting Star a copy pasta of New Jeans' sounds, nor the NJ's sounds a copy pasta of RV Bad Boy. Aight, they do have R&B variations (all of them) which means (if you want to go the "copy pasta" way) that they all copy pasta US music! Stop going the route X is copying Y in kpop. I love all XG, NJ and RV! But i never compared apples to pears to bananas!

Sounds a bit like njs. Thanks, love the song.
