I'm bamboozled seeing same groups/certain members being ambassadors for 1283928923 brands...

wait till they hire those AI idols for the jobs

I feel kbrands use the term lightly or just plain wrong as they see it become popular with luxury ba/ga deals. Before idols were just called "models" if they work with a brand but now everybody is called a ba, but those ba deals last like some months and have no actual weight or solid connection with the brand as they pick other idol to work with the brand super past

Yeah I am confused how are these temporary ambassador deals any different from groups modeling for brands in the past?

Some of them are not even ambassadors because the brands don’t even announce and post about it. It’s just a partnership.

yes, i think there are different levels of partnership or deals.
Some are contracted for a campaign in an specific country, like a model, but of course the name or fame of the idols is what they are interested on.
Others are called for a photo shoot of a magazine with a brand.
And yes, of course there are also brand representatives, but are different levels on that too. For example, some from a country or region (like Asia) only. And there are Global Ambassadors. But there very little of those from Big brands. I think some companies like to use the word GA very loosely when in fact that idol is just a brand local representative.

I even have a specific example for this.
There was some beef between Bunny’s and Dives when Yujin was announced as a BA of Fendi.
Then bunny’s said sth along the lines of her being irrelevant, to which Dives responded that Fendi actually announced her ambassadorship with their official account, whereas that was not the case with I think Danielle‘s Burberry deal. They said sth like only Hybe confirmed it.
It was definitely messy and I just wish that those terms don’t get thrown around that much. That of course goes for my faves too

Does it even matter? Artists get paid according to their "status" doesn't matter if they are a model or an ambassador
These are very superficial things imo
