Have you ever converted one of your friends to kpop?

I tried the sneaky way by just casually playing one of my kpop playlists and my friends really liked some of the older BTS songs like DNA and Blood Sweat and Tears, TxT's 0X1 Lovesong and most of Dreamcatcher's title tracks... But then they asked me who these groups were and when I told them, they immediately went ewww turn that off.

I was like, but you just said you liked the song! And they were like yyeah, but that was before I knew it was kpop.

I had one internet friend (later turned irl) found through anime group chats, I introduced her to kpop through BTS in 2016. We are no longer in contact though.

Also my little cousins, though they're mostly casual fans.

Not really, my little sister said she likes kpop, I asked who do you like and she said: I don't know but I do . She watched 5 k dramas in a month so there's that

i am sorta turning my two GUY friends into STAYs & ARMYs

the 1st song (Skz) that i showed them was God's Menu (for the Felix deep voice) :

and then i showed them Fake Love by BTS :

and other songs of these two groups and one of them said that "they do good music" and he's a sort-of fan

i also made my little brother (almost 7; became a kpop fan when he was 5) & little sister (10) kpop fans & i also made my mom a casual fan (she's even a STAY & going to see Skz with me!! also said she's taking us to watch YTC in Busan in cinemas!)

I wouldn't call them a friend but there's someone I know who become an army after one of my teachers asked me if i was a bts fan.

I don't know if they're still an army though, it's been a while.
