Actor Park Bogum Will Sign Under HYBE

    I think that'll be a smart move for HYBE, if they wanna ease their way into the acting industry.

    Why not start by signing a already popular and high profile actor.


    I saw someone say :

    "Hybe Japan did create a new label for actors/actresses when they signed Yurina Hiyate last month so there'll probably a possibility that they want to make another new sub-label solely for actors/actresses in South Korea."


    "there's a possibility that hybe will hire someone that have connection in that part of that industry to work for the new sub-label so actors/actresses are interested to sign with them."


    "If they just re-sign already established actors with high demand in the industry the offers will come to them, and then they’ll naturally start having connections in the industry."


    HYBE denying right now only means that its coming lol.

    HYBEs no, is usually a yes in disguise.


    Remember they said acquiring Pledis was a rumor, and signing Chaewon and Sakura was a "rumor" too..but now look where they are at.


    So yeah we'll be seeing Bogum with HYBE soon, and you know HYBE gonna do the whole "family thing", so maybe future interactions too🙂.

    I guess because they didnt think about it at the time, plus they want someone big and popular already in the acting business, so that way other actors can probably look at HYBE, see Park Bogum is there, and feel if he's there, then maybe "I should sign too", and they'll grow like that.


    Whether they gonna have starter actors and some that's nugu that only do web dramas, I don't know, but I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't

    Nah. He's denied everything. It was YG first.


    It first came out that he was going to sign with YG a few days ago when he hung out with Sean of Jinusean, who's a former artist and the director of YG Foundation, the charity of arm of YG. They just happen to be friends.


    Since then he's been linked to other labels.


    YGStage does have the uncanny ability to sign big names and renew actors, who are notorious label hoppers in Korea. So YG actor management must be doing something right. Their contracts are very artist-friendly and resources are big.
