I mean I fall in the late millennial/zillenials or whatever category you want to call it and truth is I have no interest in watching videos with 14 year olds in it but their music is quite enjoyable.
I assumed they have a lot of people like me who enjoy their music. Women in their mid 20s and onwards. But don’t really care to follow their performances and the like. Which is aimed at their younger audience base.

Only their antifans are gonna argue that it's weird despite Spotify being almost exclusively music and massive stream numbers being the target of the app across the board, not just kpop.
Just people being afraid of a bunch of kids being popular
This is correct and all artists outside of kpop have way more streams on Spotify than they do on their MVs on YouTube.
People who’s lives don’t revolve around kpop will want to play the songs while walking around, studying, working out, etc. Why would they pull up a YouTube MV to listen. It’s common sense and not a conspiracy as everyone wants it to be.
I mean in general i listen to music in a way that it just doesnt make sense for a video to be streaming.
I’m commuting: cant pay attention to a screen.
I’m working out: Can’t have a video skipping forward and backward and having interludes breaking the music momentum
I’m in the shower: its not feasible to have the video.
Like music videos arent my main way to consume music and I’m sure I’m in the majority

I agree with OP. Non-fans or antifans who are bitter about NJs' numbers always use the concepts card to downplay them but then can't explain how their spotify streams and even their audios on youtube out-stream their mv views. It's obvious people are liking the sound much more than the visuals.
It's really not that hard to admit people like NJs for their music but whatever makes these pressed souls sleep well at night i guess 
I think u need to release something like this to get YouTube streams
Their views also getting divided by so many videos but they are setting audio stream records on spotify. They trend like western act in this regard but audio streams in YouTube also have massive number. People are here for their music.
