    Many

  • They are all quite different, some are horror and some are more just like the night, or involving the supernatural, but I voted for the 2 Pixy songs because I think they portray emotions that match with the visuals, like obsession and hopelessness.

Some of them like Tales of The Unusual and Good Night are more about creating a fantasy world and atmosphere, and less directly relating to the human experience.

Piri and What also actually talked about real life stress or mental problems, being desperate for help with the metaphor of being in an inescapable nightmare. I guess I have a recency bias for Pixy, 'cause I used to relate to those Dreamcatcher songs but now I relate to the Pixy songs with a different focus instead. Piri and What describe something negative being a trap that you call out for help and are trying to get out of (a "nightmare" or hell), and Bewitched and Addicted talk about something negative being a trap that you desire to go deeper into (a "temptation" or call of evil, the witch's whisper)

I was considering voting for What, but I felt like it was more like the night and the city, it's more atmospheric than dark. On the other hand Bewitched is more like "only" dark and only fantasy, canonically a night in the woods. I guess cause other MVs they also set at night in the city so it is not solely something for expressing negative or vulnerable emotions.

I recommend all who are bored listen to the beginning of the songs and hear the difference 🤣
