i'll take a pass with fanfic. i'd rather just read manga or something
-
it's a phase. dont be too hard on yourself. you might've read some of my entries
-
Not really, I prefer fanfics with original or anime characters.
There are some really good ones that could've been easily books.
-
I am a sucker for a good friendship-family-fanfic. (Maybe because in reality while I do have good friends, I have self-image problems and I love a character who's in a hard place and gets loved into a healthy headspace.) Anywaaaaaaay... so I do like Batman-fanfics too were they work out all of their abandonement problems and get to be a big family. Fanfics are cheaper than a psychologist.
I avoid these y/n ones but I can understand some people feel better while reading those. I think one important factor is to understand the difference between fantasy and reality. If you do then it's alright to live in your head a little. -
Yes, I read kpop fanfics sometimes.

Just them living naturally and facing real life problems that any of us could go through. I can understand why some people find them boring, tho. But It's so good.

Yes, I agree with you. I think the love for slice of life may come with adult age or with experience, because then a lot of us understand that one of the most precious happiness is living your everyday life and getting the most out of it. Making amends, solving problems, getting comforted and give comfort. Having that cup of tea or cofee with a slice of cake and chatting an hour with your friend. I even like to read about trauma which I have or had to face because then I feel some kind of kinship even in loneliness.
-
I like fanfics that don't involve romance
Anything with building a story upon a music video, song, stuff like that is so cool though
-
nope most are cringe
-
No
But I'm from a time where the most popular story-website from my country had a crap ton stories about Japanese artists wich I read cause the authors were very good writers, the side also had the reputation that some of the best authors in different genres even ended up publishing their stories as real books and some even made it their fulltime job writting books later on.
However I got bored of the stories after a few years since the storyline was allaways about someone randomly being gay and when I noticed that there were more and more KPop-stories and they also just were about someone turning gay, I lost all interest completle
