I listened to OMG and I have to say that Ditto was better
OMG is not from 250, who composed all of NJ's other hits. It is from Jinsu Park, who did Cookie, which was considered the weakest of NJ's 3 debut songs; Hurt, a B-side song composed by 250 and someone else, was received better.
It seems Min Heejin should stick on to 250, like GFriend who stuck with Iggy Yongbae for some time. MHJ used a two track appraoch, given GF's extreme dependence on Iggy-Yongbae hurt in the end, but seems Jinsu Park is not as good as 250 and Iggy showed he is not dead when he did Lee Jieun's Celebrity.
It appears NJ's next promo, probably in autumn, will be headed by a song from 250.
====
Lee Jieun's plans to defeat NewJeans and return to power was largely thwarted by Dispatch.
Lee Jongsuk merely hinted he was seeing someone, and it would have remained as a speculation since Lee Jongsuk, while well known, is not a top star in K-O-R-E-A.
When Lee JIeun was seeing Kiha, she did the Chatshire album, which was experimental, and F(x) did defeat her. She didn't release a song until se was done with Kiha; Through the Night , Lee Jieun's most enduring song, was done around that period.
So if Dispatch had kept it silent no one would have known about this
It is regrettable that we will probably not see a full-scale battle between NewJeans and IU in the autumn, a battle which would have decided the fate of the 4th Generation.
If Ador decided to use Jinsu Park's song as the title in autumn, NewJeans would have lost to IU. And if Ador used a 250 song as the title, it would have been neck-and-neck.
Now, thanks to dispatch, a full scale fight between NewJeans and IU has become unlikely. If IU managed to defeat NewJeans the impact would probably have killed the 4th Gen, but that is probably not to be the case since albums done while she is in a relationship does not tend to do great.
