Which 4th gen group do you feel has the biggest impact this year: Ive vs NewJeans vs Stray Kids vs Le sserafim?

All of them are impressive to me, just in different ways, since each one has their own career trajectory.

But I think It's funny how over the years K-pop stans love to compare Stray Kids' achievements to girlgroups. Not long time ago it was with ITZY, then late last year It was against aespa, then in the first half of this year It was IVE and now we are almost in 2023 and people are adding NewJeans and LSRF to the equation. God knows the next girlgroup people will compare them with.

But It says something about the consistence of their sucess and hype, I guess.

It's just a stupid comparison from OP nothing more.

Especially comparing a soon 5 year old group from the Big3 with rookie groups from other big companies is not really a good thing.

I was being ironic, I'm not sure If you noticed, that's why I said I think It's funny how these comparisons always pop up. I'm not giving OP any power.

And saying they are a 5 years being compared to rookies is not the drag you think It is. There are exceptions, but in K-pop Industry, when coming from big agency, as you said, having success in your earlier years and decreasing in popularity when you are 5 years is more common than being still peaking and hyped at this rate. Since idols are often treated as disposable and easily replaced by the next hot thing, as the industry moves too fast.

So If they are standing out in the demograph they reach, something was done right. That's what I think.

Ive and New Jeans ‘cause of solid 3 consecutive hits. They really have impressive international numbers for very young groups.
