IM SORRY I LIKE THE ACTOR
Okay, valid

Okay, valid
Dori Sakurada my king my prince my duke my leige
OH ITS THE ACTOR
I binged it all this evening.
My thoughts with major spoilers. Overall - games were more brutal but season 2 was weaker re pace and tone consistency (it got too preachy too.)
The games were good for the ones highlighted but I felt this season was not solid re pacing and tone. Some bits dragged and was too corny preachy lol.
Ep 7 was really the stuff of nightmares - but how are Chishiya, Niragi, and Kuina still alive lol
Gahhh Ann didn’t deserve such a death - her character had more potential but they didn’t utilize it this season. I knew the chances were slim.
This Spade King Villain was like robo cop and he survived a car explosion like c’mon — his “I’m Sorry - it was my way of saving ppl.” UGH!!! Also, that faked out Aguni death and gah his survival and then to have him try to kill himself again?!?! I dunnoooo - how I feel about it all.
Ok will update last episode in a bit
Final episode was the best one in my opinion. The mind games were A+ but it was annoying to watch the second half of the episode when Arisu goes stupid re the self pity.
Arisu has been so annoying all season. He keeps on losing focus and is just weak even after EVERYTHING!
Usagi is def the stronger of the two but da#^ girl - don’t bleed out for a guy!!! These scene bugged me so much. She is practically dead before he got a clue again….
LOL Usagi near dead and having to watch them finish the game
So after beating the game, they get to choose to stay or decline.
So wait the truth is that the world was hit by meteor showers and those that died died etc. Arisu was dead for a minute and it’s the minute that he died - that was “the games” and it was mixed with survivor guilt?!? LOL All the game survivors survived the meteor shower…and it seems they don’t remember each other but have some “feelings”?!?
I am happy Kuina got to reunite with her mom and dad. Little Boy reunited with his parents too.
Ends with a Joker card so - it is up to us to decide if we believe this is the truth or a lie? Hahaha

they say joker card is just reference to grim reaper and means nothing much according to its manga

Ah thanks. I will then consider it as a Bittersweet ending - happy for OTP and the survivors and since it only hinted that Ann and Aguni survived - still bitter that Niragi survived after everything lol

kinda sad its the ending, but since everything is explained theres not much reason to continue
I haven't finished watching yet, but from what I understand, season 1 covered basically the first half of the manga, so it doesn't surprise me that season 2 would cover the rest. There were two (I think) follow-ups in the same world, so Netflix could renew for a third season if they wanted to.
But it's good to know that it feels complete even if Netflix decides to dump it. I mean, it's only in the top 5 TV shows right now, but what do the viewers know about what we want to see?

i dont know the manga but as others said the main story is finished, but i have heard there is also alice in borderland in retry or sth follow up story, i dont mind more seasons since its very entertaining show for me, but probably there will be not much excitement as i watched s1 & s2 since everything already is explained
Yah that mental hospital scenes in the last episode was hard to watch. I was yelling at the screen lol
The funniest part is that his character used to be a band member
I finally finished!
This season was definitely less gripping than the first season. We were able to watch some of the games full while we watch only a small part of some of them, which I didn't like very much. For example, I would like to watch the game where Kurina and Ann are fighting.
Yamashita Tomohisa, known as Yamapi (the naked man in the series), was not bad, he suited the role. I laughed quite a bit at the shots made trying not to show the pubic area. I didn't mind watching his nude butt though. Yamazaki is a good actor and Yamapi is always criticized for his acting, but I think he was even better than Yamazaki in the scenes they played together. I can see he developed himself in acting.
The episode where everyone was brutally injured was the most exciting and tense episode. But it was ridiculous that they made the man so immortal. I mean, how could he have gotten out of between two exploding cars unharmed? Are his clothes flameproof or something? Or, how did the high school student, whose whole body was shot, survived and crawled to Aguni's side?
I liked that they included almost all of the theories that the audience made in the last mind game. Aliens, humans from the future, androids, mental illness... It was a nice twist when it was finally announced as a phenomenon experienced by people whose hearts stopped at the same time as the meteor hit Tokyo. In two seasons, they put the series together well and everything was explained. Most of the groups members survived. They seem to wink at a new season with the Joker card, but I don't think it's necessary.
My rating is 7 out of 10
The actor, nicknamed Yamapi, is actually a well-known and popular person among Jpop and Jdrama lovers. He has acted in many beautiful series that can be described as classics by Jdrama lovers. Personally, I recommend Nobuta wo produce, Proposal Daisakusen, Code Blue and From Five To Nine. He also started to focus on international works after leaving Johnnys Ent. He starred in the first season of the HBO series The Head, now in the second season of Alice in Bordeland and a small role in the movie The Man from Toronto. The French/Japanese joint drama Drops of God will follow soon. His role in Alice in Borderland quickly gained him more than 200K followers, allowing him to surpass 5 million followers on Instagram. The power of the naked butt lol
