But today I saw a hare lying dead outside my house.
It was a mountain hare and had grey fur.
I guess it maybe has been starving and stuff.

did you see any cut marks, holes, or was it untouched?
cause you can tell if an animal killed it, Human, or actual starvation *asuming you didn't examine its blood and body anatomy*
