We'll Miss You Wonho!

  • Wonho is enlisting in public service as of December 5th, 2022. He held a concert yesterday and bid his fans goodbye for now. Oh my heart. I'm going to miss this precious bunny

Stay safe! Wenees love you and will greet you warmly when you return!

  • Oh gosh that's why he was so sad, I was there at the live and there wasn't really any sub titles. Oh no 😢

  • I hope everything goes well for him. I'm slightly concerned, because here in Korea public service work is a necessity BUT. The image held is it's often for people who are physically or mentally unhealthy to serve in active duty. So I hope he doesn't get any flak because people will see big strong muscular guy like him who seemingly doesn't seem ill at all take the "easy route" as public worker. Some people have gotten shit on for this. This was the main reason people like G dragon and Taemin went active duty despite knowing their physical health problems would handicap them severely this has resulted in catastrophic affect G dragon needing a costly ankle and leg surgery that could have been avoided previously if he didn't go active duty. And Taemin having a mental breakdown that could have been avoided had he also avoided active duty. BUT the negative image associated with public service work being taken by people who have godly bodies and seemgly perfect health as the easy / cheating your way through mandatory service is what drives those with health issues to push through to activate despite all odds. Plus the administration will only force you into service worker if they check you medically and find a serious medical condition that CANNOT be fixed or treated like say a heart defect will make them give you a desk job every day even if you demand active duty they will say no. So hopefully this revelation of service work for him doesn't mean he has some unknown medical issue waiting to 86 him

  • He was trying to so hard to keep it together at his concert. There's one clip where he almost starts crying. I hope he will be okay mentally.

Well if it was that hard then it's best he was given public service. Public service isn't a hard thing, usually you are given a normal role outside of the military. Example, social worker, child care worker among other things, and those people are usually allowed to go home if the place they are assigned to is in the same city. Basically you have a regular person job for a little while

Yes, i hope he doesn't get any flack. You can't tell someone's health just by looking at them. Shownu is doing public service right now. He's our big papa bear and looks like he's in peak condition but his cornea detached before and he needs to really be careful to not damage his eye. People shouldn't make assumptions or judge.
