Why do you think MAMA snub NewJeans? They got no awards

    That’s so shady of MAMA ngl. They could have made it 500k sales or just not having criteria at all but they purposely made it 1M sales so that only NJs couldn’t meet it. and they made the girls attended both days while they were the only group in that rookie collab that got no rookie award. MAMA, if you don’t want to appreciate them, why include them in the collab at all? clout?

    The criteria is not even 1m sales. They just choose whoever they like while saying the ccriteriaia how well that group do. Its a f**king joke. What did kep1er and nmixx achieve to receive that award while new jeans are excluded.

    This is a pretty crazy take. Kakao and CJ ENM are direct competitors on many levels. Starship artists only recently started attending M Countdown after a very long break. These 2 have a history of beef. Why do you think IVE has no Studio CHOOM? They only appear on 1theK and avoid CJ ENM outlets wherever possible.


    There's no way MNET would actively try to promote IVE in any way, they were just far too big this year to rob. I was really worried they would do IVE dirty but it would just cause too big of a controversy.

    The only matter is the "Best" one other is useless.

    They debut too late, no number.

    Many other group have better number.


    blame hybe for not buying award for newjeans when they usually do on MAMA.

    It's a lie tho, that's what fans make up by themselves to make this award look relevant. Mama said the criteria is based on impact or something not that the group must sold 1m albums to get this award.
