It's so they can either try to weasel out of paying her by claiming she wasn't upholding her end of the contract because she was abusive or to ruin them so they can't sign with any other company as revenge for their "betrayal" for wanting fair treatment/the company to uphold their end of the contract.

For BBC, I feel like it's the first one and also an attempt at trying to intimidate the other Loona members from trying to file similar injunctions against them. Given that there are currently two high profile cases of artists standing up against their shady companies, this is a bad move on their part. If I were the other members of Loona I would be trying to find a lawyer willing to take their case for free or pending a win.
