I remember reading that they were intended to debut at the end of 2022 a long time ago, but I suppose it got pushed back…???

Didn't the main rapper leave? Thought they were supposed to be more rap focused so with him leaving they might have been forced to make changes to the lineup

So, after the A-road ep 5 where it was revealed that Leo left they started released content again. There was a youtube live with the remaining 6 members where they revealed that they have more content coming up + a Dingo performance with Woochan. The Dingo channel posted a teaser but the performance was never posted till now.

It's already 2 months since they posted on their official accounts. And today there was a post today with Yorch being spotted in his homeland.

maybe they're getting scrapped. it happenes all the time to pre-debut groups. especially if the group was built around a member who ends up leaving. reminds me of the jype group that was supposed to be 6mix and then lena park left and another member and they scrapped it all in the end for the sixteen survival show for twice

Wonder if they weren’t near ready enough and scrapped it , the problem hybe is having is there are so many groups shits becoming diluted.

Zico is still holding auditions to find a main rapper to this day

JYPE can do it cause they have years worth of trainees that hybe just doesn’t have rn

I haven’t kept up with them but he and that member who were on a dance show are the only two members I ever heard about individually so can definitely believe he was supposed to be the ace. Plus wasn’t he in PTD together with Minji

they have the SMTM kid which was a cube trainee, the one that left isn't the problematic one? if based on his problematic video, his rap is nothing to talk about

The thing is that Leo left either during June or July. His departure was announced at the end of August, but there was still content coming up with the other 6 members during this period until the middle of September. So the company either decided that the 6 members-formation isn't enough or they are currently getting prepared for debut. The radio silence doesn't make sense anyway.

maybe their debut was scrapped and some trainees were either moved to other teams or let go, Zico's group was searching for some trainees, maybe some were moved there

Ah thanks for the info. Not very familiar with trainee A but vaguely remember that kid from SMTM. He was really good at time even though he was still only a child

I remember a recent article about Zico planning to debut the KOZ group either at the end of 2022 or the beginning of 2023, so I suppose the line-up was finalized already. But who knows. It kinda sucks that Trainee A wasn't officially recognized by Hybe as their group so the company probably won't release anything to announce that the group was scrapped.

Leo was supposed to be their center/face/ace he left so I guess they're re-recording the tracks.

they announced that Pledis is planning to debut a new bg so maybe they have some places there, is weird how they didn't mentioned them at all, unless they plan to debut them this year (one of the users here said one of the members is back to their country so is unlikely they record anything or plan to debut in the next month if one of the members aren't there), if they don't release anything until the end of the year, their debut was likely scrapped
