my biggest fear for the solo is it comes out like current moody western pop, lorde inspired shit, and all english.

Why would people not expect it to be full English? Of course it's going to be full English. Look at the producer/writer credits and we are talking about the most fluent English speaker in Blackpink. If the song is popular in the west, Koreans will stream it because we all know that Knets are success stans.
