Hybe really plotted the entire strategy incorrectly.

Instead of wasting all the time in K-O-R-E-A, Mr. Bang should have taken the boys to a whirlwind world tour, giving them NO TIME to rest and impress the world again so the incels and the die-hard reactionaries in K-O-R-E-A would remain silent.

In fact, after the concert at Sofi Stadium ended in Dec 2, BTS should have headed to New York, then to Toronto.

What was Bang thinking? Thinking looking good to the K-O-R-E-A-N-S would be good for BTS?

To the K-O-R-E-A-N-S IU was more supreme because she was always with the Koreans while BTS and other acts were roaming the world so their successes were not 'felt by their skin'.

In the end, not vanquishing IU proved to be Hybe's biggest mistake. The incels didn't care about BTS ; they had the girl groups and Lee Jieun so BTS never really rang their bells.

IU's record of 89,000 in Korea will be held intact for at least 2 more years, because the Olympic Stadium will really be renovated from this winter, and the other big venue, the Soccer Stadium, is not open to concerts thanks to the K-O-R-E-A-N soccer fans balking.

It will only lead to more negative consequences to KPop since any act, no matter how many copies they might sell, will seem inferior to IU who did demonstrate that she had more fans who are willing to shell money for her than anyone else ACTIVE in Korea now.

Yes, the fans know and anyone who knows anything about KPop knows.

However, in 20 years this record will be the greatest demerit against BTS who do not remember the times and people then will ask why BTS lost to Lee Jieun at home.

That number,45,228 for $5,877,261, is now set on stone.

Touringdata refused to consider the revenues from the online part of the BTS Seoul tour which will have a decisive effect on history.

Seventeen will do a concert at the Gochuck Dome (around 27,000 capacity) for 2 days. That's around 54,000.

Just by that she created the greatest quandary of KPop, in which her domestic popularity skews the figures for everyone else, even though she never really had a presence outside of Korea. Future historians , if they only check Korean sources , will have the false impression that IU was the most popular singer of the KPop era, even though she was completely irrelevant outside of Asia. Her legendary efforts to undermine and eventually destroy KPop also finds few equals in history.
