its not vocal minority when hate posts literally get thousand of likes
that's my point because the "good" fans don't do that. hence the vocal minority...
it's always the problematic ones that need to make a comment/post about it/share it/like it etc etc...
you can't see the good fans because they aren't engaging in that behaviour...

And I feel that people remember or it sticks out more when you see a negative comment, I myself could remember alot more hate comments then positive comments about my favs

people tend to remember the bad experiences more than the good ones
I remember a scientific study that said something like that and people remember the negative experiences more than the positive ones...
also that positive messages elicit less responses overall than negative ones...whether in kpop or otherwise which is why (even on AKP) if one wrote idol xyz is "useless or filler" you'd get much much more responses than if you had an appreciation thread for the same idol

Case:
Like some nugu idol does a cover of some popular group, and he/she does a good job.
Then some stans of covered popular group come in and say wow he/she did a good job I thought it was "A" idol, wow he/she sounds like "A" idol.
Then other stans get triggered over that and say no he/she doesn't sound like "A", and drag that idol saying u will never be "A", there's only one "A", u sound average, u are terrible, u should disband etc.
In this case the nugu idol who covered the song has like no wrong but ended up hated and harassed by toxic kpop stans. Like how much u do a good job in covering u will never win. That's why it's so hard to be an idol from nugu/small company. There's always this triggered toxic popular group stans that will harass you and destroy you whenever u get some attention.
Some fans want their favorites to be super unique and special to the point where no one else can look or sound like them. Even if it's praise towards both, it won't be taken as such.
I think it's childish, so hopefully they'll grow out of it.

hehehe yeah. our language is similar.
dutch: dat is
lower german: dat is
high german: das ist
my grandmother spoke lower german a lot so i understand a bit. Some words are still used regularly, in my part of the country. i also use "dat" instead of "das". i bet its easier for many in westphalia or emsland to understand a dutch speaking dutch, than a bavarian or saxon speaking german in his idiom.^^
