oh same! I have astigmatism and my left eye is very weak. I just went for an eye exam on Friday and my vision is getting worse.

I have a cousin who is legally blind in one eye and has a very severe version of this along with other difficulties, so if it's that severe, I could see this disqualifying him, but there are many of us with less severe version of this. We don't know how severe his case may be, but I suspect the user who pointed it out doesn't really care and just wanted an excuse to say something negative about ARMY as they usually do.

While theres no doubt many rich people play by other rules, its not like the sitting president was anywhere close to being a chaebol in his youth, his parents were scholars/teachers, hardly among the elites in the military dictatorship he grew up in.
Either way it doesnt really matter, the president has little to do with sending men to the military, or should they halt the draft for all men just because the sitting president didnt serve?
