Why are kpop companies still going ahead with their NFT products?

  • I feel like if anyone is going to have success with NFTs it's going to be the k-pop companies.

Unlike everyone else who sees them as a speculative asset, laundering tool, or a way to park their cash, k-pop stans will actually try to "support their faves" by buying them at insane prices.

In this instance, what they get for their money is actually irrelevant.

As we have seen with "non-shipped" album bulk buys.

  • You got a point

I have fandoms make a stance against this bs but they will likely disappoint

Because rich people are out of touch with reality.

A thing my father said " The rich man would hang himself with the rope if he thought he could make money out of it"

  • Kpop fans will buy anything. I wouldn't be surprised if even during a crash kpop fans will still be hungry to but any trash even if it's a clear rip off

  • a fool and their money are soon parted

I think I saw somewhere that 99% of the NFT market is non-existant...

but from a kpop company pov if there is a person that would buy my product then why wouldn't I sell it be it merch? album? concert tickes? NFTs etc etc

  • You're assuming they are purchasing them rather than selling their existing commodities which doesn't take much money to do.

As you've posted proof that NFT's have plummetted then it's just a huge nonus for fans that can get their hands on NFT's from a Kpop company at a cheaper price. For Kpop Fans, that will be all gain, no risk.
