I know, right? It's such a great song and actually gives me huge J-song Twice vibes. It was also the first Twice comeback that I've squealed so much on drop day in a while. And my first comeback as a ONCE was ICSM. I think the one that comes close would-be Kura Kura which is still my favorite J-title track btw.

Yeah...and I hope that Twice doesn't look at the Korean charts disappointedly. They have a lot of people who adore them but the charting there depends on how well the Korean GP receives the comeback. So, I would say to not fret even if they don't chart that high and don't get that wins. They still are prospering and actually doing well than most groups.

OMG same!! I thought it would be weird to say it though but I'm glad that someone else feels the same way. I'm actually always anticipating a new Twice comeback but after this I am even more because I'm curious the direction JYP will take them...

It kind of seems like all their comebacks have been a pretty good mixture of mature and cute which I really love. It does seem like maybe they were conflicted because Feel Special - I Can't Stop Me, even Fancy, were pretty mature. But if you really think about it, the whole goal of these concept mixtures is to keep the Twice sound we're all familiar and love but making them to mirror their maturity. I don't think we'll ever reach the level of cuteness that was Cheer Up - Dance the Night Away. Everything after that has been a straight mixture if not more mature than anything (except for maybe Happy Happy).

And I think there's a pretty good reason for that...I'm sorry but whenever they perform their classic, really cute songs, they don't have that same energy and I think it's just something natural that comes with maturity. They were pretty young when they did those really cute concepts so for them to perform them grown up, it's understandable.

I realize mature and recent concept makes me be like oooo or wooahhh or other sounds.

But as he went back to the earlier songs, it was just pure happiness. I kept having a smile on my face and the reactor did too.

Well never go back to that since we can go back in age but TTT has been a good mix of it.

That reminds me, I think that the Twice members changed a lot. They were definitely more visually cute earlier in their career. Like I'm not even kidding, the evolution of Sana, Jihyo, Dahyun and Tzuyu's cute to mature image are so different haha. I mean, they're the same people but I think Sana has truly become the definition of cute-sexy and Dahyun has matured a lot.

I feel like KPOP fans understand this a lot. I'm pretty sure "normal" people would be like "of course, they're going to look different years later" but for some reason, it means a lot to us when it happens. But I digress.

Ooh interesting. I'm probably the same way and it might mostly be because I'm really used to that cute Twice sound. So when they try something different, it's just incredible to me, sometimes, how they are able to execute it so well.

Aww, yeah! I bet. I would be smiling stupidly as well. Their cute songs are timeless and iconic classics that are always so cute and leave a fuzzy feeling in my heart.

I mean it when I say "ain't nobody doing it like Twice."

I don't think I'll ever form this strong of an emotional bond with a music artist again.

Yep, for sure. A lot of their latest comebacks have been pretty good mixes of them. I really adore how they stick to their Twice sound, while being more mature, instead of doing a complete 360 just to bring more people in.

This is the one thing I've noticed. Music also has an emotional aspect to the music. I don't think i've really encounted a group that makes the audience warm and fuzzy inside, that Twice truly specialize it.

I hear sounds and think wow that's sounds so cool or wow that sounds so touching but I don't think there has been any artist that makes me think that makes me so happy. I think maybe some early Gfriend and Yena.

Yeah...that reminds me of something we were talking about in class today. Like music is made to make you feel something. There's really no other purpose. And I've been fuzzy and warm when listening to music but Twice just hits differently. I'm pretty sure I've grown emotionally attached to them throughout my journey as a ONCE

Yeah, both versions are great but I'll also admit that I do have a bias for Twice's more. It's honestly such a great and underrated performance. It's how I got into the song...I'm pretty sure I fell in love with it after that.

And the dance break + Jihyo's adlibs are incredibly addicting!!

But I just wish that they had a better camera coordinator because it really did look like they didn't like Jeongyeon. They focused on every other member when they had lines/center position but never when Jeongyeon had lines...

I was literally blushing on when they reacted to the performance together. It was honestly really, really cute.
