The former ofc. But I wouldn’t say cookie is a hit. Even hype boy is border line.

The former, except that Hype Boy and Attention are clearly hits and Cookie is borderline
I genuinely wonder if other groups will try this very soon

The key word here is "trendy"
kchart don't chart with popular, they chart with who is trendy at that moment.
If a group like Newjeans who is so trendy right now, they can definitely do a 3 song hit. However, the hard part doing so is they need to make the group trendy like Newjeans.
The second part is also hard because you have to keep up the hype and continue to release good music and that the gp care about it. Group can be trendy at the moment, but they can also lost those hype after 1 comeback or so. We have many example.
so for me I would definitely say 3 hit in 3 comebacks is harder.

both. but cookie is not a hit. new jeans situation was already done by blackpink in their debut. for ive, they're comparable to twice 2016.
i'm more impressed with ive though since they don't have a big company backing them up and they're only getting stronger each comeback. the reason why blackpink and newjeans had a good debut was because they have a refreshing concept in their eras but more importantly, they're backed by big companies. hype will always be there.

The different is that most group usually only have 1 title track + other b-side. There is barely group will have 3 title tracks in a single album with all of them having a MV and promotion which make a huge different why there is no other people able to do so. IVE b-side not doing well because most gp doesn't listen to b-side and IVE not promoting them is also a factor.
Title track obviously doesn't mean that it will do well and the number they get is impressive on it own for sure.
For the first one, what I'm hoping people get is that what if they have the same requirement? What if a group also have 3 title tracks with MV and promotion instead of 3 b-side without promotion? What the possible for all 3 songs to chart high?

In general, the former is harder.
You not only need to have a hit with the title tracks which is already hard, but you also need to have 2 more hits from a b-side which is an impossible task.
However, Newjeans is a special case where they have 3 title tracks in an album that mean Attention, Hype Boy and Cookie have a chance to hit big just like any other group title tracks(Eleven, Love Dive, After LIKE, Girls, Fearless, etc...). Therefore, it is the same, or 3 hit in a row is a little bit harder in this case.
In order for a group's song to hit big not only you need to be "the moment" or popular, but also the song need to be good and appeal to the public. Both Newjeans and IVE is "the moemnt" right now and both of them release good music that the public like. You can be "the moment" right now, but can you keep up the hype and continually making good music and chart good? There is a reason why many group failed to make 3 hits in a row, but IVE did it.
That why in this case, I would say having 3 hits in a row is harder.

True, but having consecutive hits has happened before in gg charting, with the now-epic runs that Twice, SNSD and Wonder Girls have done.
A gg with 3 hits all competing with each other, all simultaneously in the Top 10 of Melon consistently, for 2 whole months, in summer, is unheard of.

This is because it’s less common to release three title tracks simultaneously. It’s still very impressive.
