Honestly yes.
But that's kpop. A big part of the appeal is that you can take any average person, fix their flaws, train them to some mid level of skill and market the crap out of them and make money.
Twice is like the best example of this. One amazing dancer, two above average vocalists and then pretty much mid talent everywhere else. But with the help of Dr. Kim, they look incredible and have a massive fandom of simps that will support them until they disband, maybe even beyond.
