it's not the same and you know it lol snsd were underperforming for some time when twice surpassed them and 2ne1 reason for disbarment was due Bom's scandal. Blackpink doesn't show any sign of declining it's the opposite they are becoming stronger in all areas and no girl group come close to them globally. Pink venom while it's catchy it can be polarizing for some and being #2 on melon is a good achievement.

Bro, BP debuted with the highest uls for a female artist this year and at the same time they had almost 2m on streams, I don't see Ive doing that. And NJ? well congrats beating a gg without promotion in SK when charts are promo dependent.
Maybe the day BP does less than 2m in spotify you could claim this, but for now? they are pulling more streams with 1 song than the 10 songs in total of the other 2 groups.

It was the most anticipated comeback and the ults showed that, but it also showed that they don't like the song that much to give it sweet #1. If bts would have been blocked by the same rookie, it would have been embarrassing. It would be understandable though, since their cb song is a ballad, but a dance music filled with catchy ear worm lyrics on purpose as this grand come back after 2 years? Nah.

STOP THE DELUSION, there was a long ass thread about korean charting and most blinks aknowledged that it wasn't certain for them to top everyone. They are the biggest gg and it shows in the international side and that was said by us. Stop coping with the whole korean chart argument, since reform melon is a promo dependant site, you need promo to top it.

guys I sincerely believe that BP records can be broken. Nobody imagined that the records of SNSD or Twice could be broken and now we are witnessing the generational change with New Jeans. Most of the PG, singers and actors are supporting New Jeans and their fandom is made up more by women, never in the years of listening to kpop have I seen a balanced Korean fandom like NewJeans. Everyone can say that Korea is irrelevant but think about why YG is still mediaplaying in Korea. Supposedly Blackpink can survive globally, so why is YG still using mediaplay? Worldwide girl groups have a short period of time.

3rd gen era (read BP, lol) will ended, this is for sure, but not this time. BP matric this comeback is insane, globally and locally.
For how long BP will stay relevant amidst oceans of GG, no one can tell. But hoping them to decline soon is not a nice act. Better you pray your fave a bright future than hoping other group to fall from the grace.

Still crazy how their ULs are almost matching "top gg" BP who had 2 year anticipation and build up....
With how things are looking now though it seems it will surpass BP next Monday
I think it's even possible for AL to surpass Attention if it doesn't gain too much but we'll see......
(btw ive will have a huge amount of promotions this era their schedule is crazy atm)
