Will BTS be popular if they were from original Big3 ?

Yes they'd hit the same success maybe even a little sooner because of big 3 perks. With sm its a 50% chance that higher-ups won't meddle with their concept and music. Jyp is a solid zero. He wants to control too much including image and music. YG is the best they already have western music and rap overseas and don't meddle in group dynamics music or images and don't give a fuck if they date or not. Plus they would always have supportive producers from Teddy to g dragon etc to lean if they needed them. YG would be a 100% success

No matter how good of an underdog story they had, if their music was bad, they wouldn’t have made it

And why do people assume all armys romanticize BTS struggles? If BTS could have started off well with good resources and promo as long as all their members, concepts, freedom, music and personalities were not changing, I would have wished so. Because the guys are very talented. Hitting big was just a matter of time

However as we all know how the big 3 run, I doubt BTS will still be the same. SM would have made V a rapper. It’s possible Jin would have been an actor and I doubt the rapline would have debuted. JYP in 2013 would have been the same. YG is the only company I think some aspects of BTS would have still survived. But the lack of contents and music would have killed the group, which is a big part to their success. Also for a big group like BTS, the scandal will do a lot of damage to their reputation if they were promoting internationally.
