What's hybe's criteria to debut idols?

    Sounding good with autotune and be able to sell yourself to teens with lack of social skills and parents attention

    Most of the member are good looking though. Sure, they aren't visuals but still good looking. Why would you even want to go to HYBE? Have the HYBE stans convinced you it's better than SM, YG or JYP or smh? After seeing how they handle scandals they still are newbies in the grand scheme and just got lucky with BTS. I'd want to go to JYP or SM.

    Mid visuals and especially mediocre singing skill, it's unbelievable. Basically overrated attractive/okay level visual back up dancers. It's really weird how all their groups can't sing. Seventeen doesn't count.

    I thought source would show another Yuju, but Yunjin is not impressive at all. Only Yunjin and Chaewon can sing. Sakura and Kazuha are lucky they're popular and pretty. I don't know how Eunchae got in since she has none.

    I thought MHJ would be smart, but she gave us another pretty girls with mediocre talent.

    SM has their own pool of robots, but at least they can sing and their untalented idols at least are visuals. You can have no talent and be average looking, and still debut in Hybe groups.

    I think Lesserafim is their most talented 4th gen group (fromis doesn't count) , girls can sing. I'm disspaointed with new GG, even in their studio version they sound so flat it.

    Weird then that SM idols actually singing live are a rarity, especially when their supposed to be covering for performance aspects by lipsyncing. Also how is Giselle a visual lol


    Itzy seem to be able to sing live as well as dance, plus they chart better than all other SM groups, so I'm not sure what SM has to offer to anyone that isn't a nostalgia addict

    Be pretty. Be a decent dancer.
