well, not many raps for groups are bad for me, they are just there. BP's stands out in a good way though.

Makes sense. Teddy was the main rapper in a hip-hop group in a (at one point) hip-hop centric label under the guidance of The Useless One in Korea's most famous hip-hop group.

He actually understands rap whereas most other producers don't and just use it to fill in the gap or make use of a less vocally talented member.

By better rhythm are you talking flow or cadence - I don't think kpop sets a high bar for either with its rappers

Their team knows cadence, how to consistently "ride" beats, and effective reciting of their rhymes. Their understanding of English and how their flows are seamless between two languages really does set them apart in the "Biggies".

Maybe because their songs are supposed to be rap-heavy I dunno if that make sense but other groups sound like they just added a rap for the sake of rapping.
