Of course they know that, but they still won't address it imo. HYBE rarely addresses controversies unless the korean part of the fandom or the korean gp wants them to (and sometimes not even then). They just don't care if it's not an issue domestically and i think this is pretty evident when you look at what issues they otherwise address.
HYBE should clarify the recent controversy regarding Enhypen...

Hybe isn't going to release any statement. They threw Jake under the bus for a mistake which their STYLIST made, they let him get all the lashings for their incompetence so no, hybe isn't doing a thing.
Fans are trying to reach enhypen through fancalls and address the issue to them, let's hope that the company won't cut off their calls the way they did during the necklace controversy

The company is most likely gonna be the one pushing him to diet so why would they care if the members are calling him fat? They're probably doing it too.
Honestly the comments... We don't know their relationship or where the line is for any of them. It's the videos I saw where the members are eating and Sunoo isn't even though in some of them he clearly wants to. It's quite painful to watch especially considering he's not even remotely fat.

you could brush it off as a joke between friends the first or second or even third time but when it repeatedly happens over and over again and you know how he’s on a strict diet and generally struggles a lot with eating and dieting… passing those kinds of comments is just a total dick move. they’ve been friends for let’s say two years now and even i wouldn’t do that to my childhood friends no matter how close we are. targeting someone’s insecurities shouldn’t be taken as a joke.
and it’s always those two members obsessed with his weight like maybe worry about solving 4 x 7 first

Leaving aside whether or not this is bullying or teasing between friends; what my issue is with this situation that it's not JUST about Suhoon but they are clearly setting a precedent that people who look like him or are heavier should be laughed at and joked about for their weight.
It's low hanging fruit, and it doesn't sit right with me.
Hopefully they'll reflect and learn that it's not right to do so.
I do believe people can learn and change for the better
