I thought the fandom as a whole weren't that supportive of the collab bc it was with Charlie Puth. So does this mean the success of Left and Right was supposedly more organic than BTS's recent title track? What's the reason? Radioplay or GP? What shortcomings did YTC face that LR didn't? Honestly, I would've never expected even in my wildest dreams that a Jungkook collab would do better than a BTS tt, especially just after hiatus.

tbh even when jk was not confirmed for collab I saw the spoilers for it on tiktok and I knew it would be a hit. JK presence gave song the more recognition especially in asia because bts are much more famous there then CP

It’s because of the track. It’s in English, poppy, and has two of some of the big stars in East and West. I will be more shocked if the track flopped after all these factors
Also as we already know, Charlie gets better playlisting than BTS so it’s not rocket science. But I think left and right is shaping up to be his biggest hit from all the singles he has released from his upcoming album. It’s even doing better numbers than Light Switch which was a good hit.

Maybe I should've just asked why is Left and Right doing so well but now that I think about it, that would also sound like a bait/shade. I don't think I would've won either way
