so i went to stan twitter (unfortunately) and even though hyunjin apologised for his actions and met with his victims, people are still convinced he’s 100% innocent.
and it reminded me of woojin situation. he got accussed of sexual harassment that was proven false, then fans made up theories that he bullied members even though there was NO evidence for that - nobody ever brought that up, members never talked about it. i dont know where it came from. people took some of their moments out of context to prove that members didnt feel comfortable around him.
woojin got cancelled and has been hated on by kpop fans to this day, while people defend hyunjin saying that he’s the victim and didnt bully anyone FOR SURE.
how does it work? why is woojin hated on to this day for something that we have absolutely no evidence for but at the same time everyone defends hyunjin for something he publicly apologised for? is it pretty privilege? why is that?
