That's only after 2017.... When people realized how much worse Sequel trilogy was.
Everyone: The prequel trilogy is are the worst Star Wars movies

No. Just no. Maybe if you’re in it for me the memes but OT is vastly superior in characters and storytelling.
But then again the prequels and infinity better than the sequel trilogy. Holy shit they are a train wreck. Characters are basic and forgettable, there’s no running plot threads between all 3 films and worst the films keep contracting each other. I mean how Rey went from Scavenger to capable to Jedi in 1 film, then a nobody half assessed trained by a grumpy and shitty Luke in the 2nd to being the fucking granddaughter of Palapatine in 3 out of nowhere?!?!

Prequels reception got better as the time went on.
But yeah, Sequel Trilogy was a mess from start (well Force Awakens was alright...it wasn't as bad as The Last Jedi)

I kind of enjoyed Kenobi series. Especially the duel of between Vader and Kenobi.

Well prequels got more appreciation because of the memes that spawned from them and how abhorrent the sequels were in comparison.
The sequel trilogy has to go down as the worst trilogy in all of films. They butchered everything good about the previous 6 and put many many fans off Star Wars films. The Star Wars tv shows are basically hard carrying Star Wars.
In comparison it’s a testament to how Marvel has been able to keep a consistent level of quality a and coherence over almost 30 films while Star Wars fumbled hard in just 3.

Marvel is slipping a lot these days with the quality.
Eternals, Black Widow and even Multiverse of Madness didn't quite reach the Marvel standard. And now, Thor Love and Thunder's future is looking bleak. Reports are saying.... They wasted Christian Bale as a villain.

But like I said that took almost 30 films to get this point (28 before Thor comes out). All over the span of around 14 years (give or take 2 because of covid fucking the world up). That's very impressive. Endgame especially is nothing short of a miracle how it closes long running plot threads, completes some character arcs and still leaves new stories to be explored all the while nailing the landing ina very satisfying manner.
And even then the films you named (I'd replace Dr Strange MoM with Shang Chi because of its boring final act) I and most others would say they still enjoyed them much more than any of the star wars sequels. Not to mention all marvel films are interconnected with very few major contradictions or derailing, sequels couldn't even string 2 together without screwing up lore between them, they even pissed up the original trilogy with Rise of Skywalker as a cherry on top lol.

Rise of Skywalker directly invalidates Return of the Jedi...it pissed me off. Looks like Anakin died for nothing....

I always loved the prequels. They're the star wars films that I grew up with and saw on the big screen as a kid. They're a part of my childhood so I loved them in the same way oder folks love the original trilogy.
I also think that the prequel appreciation we're seeing nowadays likely isn't as new as it may seem. It's just people like me who are now able to voice an opinion thanks to the internet - many of us fans were simply too young at the time to chime in (the prequels came out before social media really took off afterall). I'm sure that a great many people have always loved the prequels but the only voices heard and publicised at the time were professional movie critics. And I think we all know how different the opinion of movie critics can be from that of the general public or fans.
The critics loved The Last Jedi afterall. And while it isn't as bad as the abomination that came after, I still think some of those critics must've seen a different film.

I totally agree, Anakin is my teenage crush. When i see Revenge of Sith Cd cover on Anakin face. I immediately buy cd and watched. If I hadn't seen Anakin's face on the CD cover, maybe I would never have started my Star Wars adventure. Thanks to Hayden, I discovered an excellent series. The 2nd movie in the original series is the best Star Wars movie, but the effects are very old, of course, the effects were a first and very good compared to the old times, but the views in the Prequels are magnificent, for example. Unfortunately, there is no Obi-wan and Anakin duo in the original series. Han solo and Luke duo are both okay, I personally didn't like it as much as the Obi-wan Anakin duo. Also Anakin's story is one of the factors that deepen Star Wars. Because he's very complex character is a complete gray character.
Definitely the worst to Sequels. It has a made-up story as if it was written by a fanfiction writer. If it wasn't for the Kylo Ren character, I probably wouldn't have been able to watch it until the end. He was the only character in the series that was fun to watch.
